The Department of Economics invites applications for a one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2015-16 academic year. We seek a candidate prepared to teach introductory microeconomics, introductory macroeconomics and introductory statistics. Additional electives ideally would include at least one of the following: intermediate microeconomics; health economics; international trade; international finance.

Teaching load is three courses each semester. Loyola Marymount requires a commitment to teaching excellence in a liberal arts environment. Requirements for Ph.D. expected to have been completed at the time of appointment; however, advanced ABDs will be considered.
