The National Bureau of Economic Research is the nation’s leading non-profit economic research organization. Since 1920 the NBER has developed and disseminated impartial information on a wide range of issues that are important for public and private decision makers. The NBER coordinates research by more than 1,000 economics professors at leading universities and business schools throughout the United States.
The National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) has an opening for a research assistant. The candidate would assist Professors Erin Johnson and Marit Rehavi and conduct empirical research in the area of health economics.
The position is ideal for recent college graduates and provides an excellent opportunity for those considering graduate school in economics, public policy, public health, or social work. Other qualifications include strong programming skills, and previous experience manipulating large datasets with SAS, STATA, R, or another programming language.
