Texas A&M University at Galveston (TAMUG) seeks non-tenure track Instructional Assistant Professors of Maritime Administration to teach undergraduate/graduate courses in economics and statistics. Willingness to teach a finance class is welcome. Appointees will also engage in student advising and university service. These are full-time, nine month renewable positions. The anticipated start date is September 1, 2015. TAMUG is the maritime branch of Texas A&M University. The department of Maritime Administration focuses on the business of shipping, port management and logistics.

Minimum qualifications include Ph.D. in Economics. Those with university teaching experience and a background in the maritime industry are encouraged to apply. Applications should be received by June 1, 2015 for full consideration.
