Pending approval and funding, the Department of Finance in the School of Management at the University of San Francisco is seeking to fill a 1-year visiting position at the Assistant or Associate Professor in financial econometrics with a subfield in an area of applied finance such as Derivatives, Investments, and/or Financial Economics. The position will begin in mid-August 2015 for the academic year 2015-2016. The position will involve teaching econometrics and applied financial econometrics or econometrics and derivatives depending on the person's teaching and research strengths.

This visiting position involves teaching exclusively in the MSc in Financial Analysis (MSFA) program. Applicants should be qualified to teach econometrics and financial econometrics at the Master’s levels. Applicants must have mastery of STATA.

Our MSFA program is an Academic Program Partner of the CFA Institute. We are especially interested in candidates who have empirical research, financial market experience, and familiarity with the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) program and its curriculum.

We prefer candidates with an earned doctorate in Finance or Economics by Fall 2015.
