Job Summary:
The Department of Finance in the School of Management at the University of San Francisco is seeking to fill a position at the Assistant or Associate Professor in Finance with a sub-field in an area of applied finance such as Financial Institutions, Corporate Finance, Investments, and/or Asset Pricing. The position is anticipated to begin in the Fall of 2015. This is a tenure-track appointment.

Job Responsibilities:
A strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research is expected. Candidates will teach both required and elective finance courses in our undergraduate and MBA programs. Areas of teaching emphasis include corporate finance, financial institutions, investments, and international finance. Applicants should be familiar or be comfortable using STATA and/or MATLAB in the classroom.

Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Finance or Economics from an AACSB-accredited institution is required. Rank and salary will be commensurate with academic achievement, a demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses, and published research. Business experience is a plus.
