The Department of Economics, Beacom School of Business, University of South Dakota invites applications for a one-year position at the rank of Visiting Assistant Professor. The position begins on August 22, 2015. A Ph.D. in Economics is preferred, but candidates who are ABD in Economics Ph.D. programs will also be considered. The teaching load will be 7 courses for the 2015-16 academic year.

Candidates must be able to teach Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, and an upper-level course in Public Finance. Other upper-level courses may also be assigned, based on the candidate's fields of study. The courses to be taught will be located mostly at the main campus in Vermillion, but some will be offered at the Sioux Falls campus as well. Additionally, some of the courses may be online courses.
