Truman State University seeks applicants for a temporary faculty position in Economics and Geography beginning August, 2015 (pending final approval and funding), for a full-time, nine-month appointment with the possibility of renewal for up to three additional years.

Responsibilities: provide classroom instruction in lower and upper division curriculum in Economics and Geography; fulfill additional faculty duties including conducting research appropriate to the teacher-scholar model and mentoring students in research and other experiences; and provide service to the University and community. Requires a Ph.D. in Economics or closely related field; ABD (with Masters in Economics or closely related field) will be considered with Ph.D. completion scheduled by December 2015.
