Economists at Amazon will be expected to work directly with the chief economist Pat Bajari and senior management on key business problems faced in retail, international retail, cloud computing, third party merchants, search, Kindle, streaming video, and operations. The economics team has an opening for an applied time series economist with strong theoretical foundations. You will apply economic theory to build econometric models, and prototype scalable implementations in partnership with technical teams, using Amazon’s world class data systems.
