We seek a tenure-track assistant professor of economics whose research addresses environmental sustainability. While all areas of environmental economics will be considered, we have particular interest in candidates conducting research in climate impacts, especially related to agriculture, forestry, and natural resources. Expectations are development of a productive externally funded research program, and a teaching program of interest to diverse undergraduate and graduate interests. This position is part of a multi-faculty hiring focusing on diverse areas of agricultural and ecological sciences. We anticipate filling the position by fall, 2015.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. and demonstrated potential to develop and lead productive research programs. He or she will embrace interdisciplinary approaches, interfacing with broad segments of the science-to-policy spectrum. The faculty member will be located within the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture, in the department that best suits their interests and expertise.
