The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in international economics beginning Fall 2015. Successful candidates will have a commitment to international economic research, potential for research funding, and the ability to teach at the undergraduate, master's, and doctoral levels. We seek a candidate who can teach international trade at the Ph.D. level, but we are interested in all aspects of empirically relevant international research, including trade, macro and development. The normal teaching load is two courses per semester for faculty who work with graduate students and are research active. A Ph.D. is required by 9/1/2015 and the degree must be from a university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized accrediting organization.
