Full Text of JOE Listing:

The Research Department is seeking two economists who are actively conducting research in any of the following fields: macroeconomic theory, monetary economics, empirical macroeconomics, and international economics. Main responsibilities include producing research for publication in top-tier academic journals, briefing the Bank's president on monetary policy issues, and writing nontechnical articles for our Business Review. Excellent research skills are vital, as are good writing and speaking skills. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in economics or reasonably expect to complete all degree requirements by September 2015. The department offers an outstanding research environment and competitive salaries and benefits.
