The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas is seeking an Officer to provide oversight of one manager and seven staff members who provide current analysis and research on banking and financial markets. The group also analyzes commercial banking information and conducts current analysis and research on savings and loans, foreign banking organizations with US operations, hedge funds, private equity, and financial markets more generally. The selected individual will work with senior management and Board of Governors staff to provide information and inform policy decisions as well as give public speeches and presentations to relevant audiences in the financial industry. Key responsibilities include publishing research in outside journals and Bank publications, leading and directing staff, and providing information to senior management.

Qualifications include a Ph.D. in economics or related discipline, record of publications in banking or financial markets in refereed journals, minimum ten years of experience in the regulatory industry, financial industry, and/or academia and a minimum of five years' experience managing and leading staff.
