The Center for Financing, Access and Cost Trends at AHRQ is seeking a Ph.D. economist interested in conducting research on the U.S. health care system. The successful applicant will join a team of interdisciplinary researchers generating policy-relevant publications in economics, health policy and health services research journals. This individual will also contribute to the analytical design of the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS), a series of large surveys of households, employers and providers. The successful applicant should possess strong research and excellent applied microeconomic skills (both theoretical and econometric). We are especially interested in a Ph.D. researcher with a few years of experience. This is a GS-14 position with a salary range of $106K-$138K.
