Located in England, Hull University Business School (HUBS) is a rapidly expanding school, incorporating five subject groups (departments), one of which is economics. Having a thriving research led culture and excellent teaching, we hold numerous professional accreditations, as well as having external recognition from AACSB and AMBA. The economics group has a large number of academic programmes and teaches from undergraduate to PhD level.

HUBS seeks to appoint a full Professor of Economics, who will also take on the role of Head of Subject Group (Chair of Economics Department). Providing strong academic leadership you will drive forward the development of a strong research culture and enhance the teaching through the development of a broad range of programmes.

An experienced and astute leader, you will contribute to a full range of research, teaching and expansion activities, with a particular focus on developing our well-established research culture. As well as leading and managing a series of large-scale projects within the school, you will also have the opportunity to pursue your own programme of further innovative, high-quality and profile-raising research, including raising external research funding.
