Seeking candidates for a twelve month, tenure-leading faculty position with an appointment of 60 percent teaching and 40 percent research. If filled at the Full Professor rank the candidate will be eligible for consideration for the Roy and Judy Frederick Professor of Agricultural Economics professorship.

The incumbent will develop and maintain nationally and internationally recognized research and teaching programs in areas such as agribusiness management, food and fiber distribution systems, value-added agriculture, and the role of entrepreneurship in the development of agribusinesses. Teaching responsibilities will emphasize undergraduate courses that comprise the core in the Agribusiness program. Requirements include a PhD in Agricultural Economics, Applied Economics, Business, or related field at the time of hire; strong training in business principles, economic theory, and quantitative methods and their application to applied problems; demonstrated knowledge of the food and agribusiness industry; documented evidence, commensurate with appropriate rank of hire, of excellence in teaching and success in obtaining external funding and publishing scholarly work in appropriate outlets; and excellent written and oral communication skills. Preferred qualifications include agribusiness industry experience and exhibited ability to work in teams and provide program leadership.
