St. Bonaventure University invites applications for a tenure-track position in finance at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. from an accredited university and be available to teach undergraduate and MBA course starting in August 2015, subject to budget approval.

The ideal candidate will teach in some of the following areas: Investments, Money and Banking, Financial Institutions, and Corporate Finance. The ability in teaching elective courses in Finance or Financial Economics, along with experience teaching in on-line or in co-located environments is ideal.

St. Bonaventure University's School of Business is accredited by AACSB and has recently moved into its new state-of-the-art Swan Business Center. The Department of Finance is the home to the finance and economics programs, along with business statistics education. The department has received recognition from the CFA Institute as part of their University Recognition Program as providing a high-quality curriculum. The department houses two student-run investment portfolios including a long equity fund and an energy hedge fund. Total assets exceed $500,000.

Additional responsibilities include student advising and university service. Individuals with prior teaching experience, with the ability to show evidence of innovative, effective teaching, and a commitment to student success are especially encouraged to apply.
