Merrimack College is a selective four-year Catholic college in the Augustinian tradition, offering programs in the liberal arts, business, the sciences, and engineering for its 2500+ students. The college is located in the Merrimack Valley, approximately 25 miles north of Boston.
Position Overview: The Economics Department at Merrimack College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Economics at the Assistant Professor level beginning in the Fall of 2015. The successful candidate will teach Introduction to Economics, Economics of Gender, Economics of Education, and Labor Economics. The teaching load is three courses per semester with no more than two preparations.
Applicants must show evidence of, or potential for, excellence in teaching and research. A Ph.D. in Economics from an accredited university is preferred. ABD’s will also be considered.
