Applicants must have hold a Ph.D. or doctorate degree in economics for at least five years and have a well-established record of research. Being able to teach in French is not required but will be appreciated. Being able to integrate one of the five existing research teams (CGEMP (energy and climate), DIAL (development and globalization), JEP (public economy and game theory), LEGOS (health economics) or SDFi (finance and macroeconomics)) would be a plus.

Candidates are expected to be committed to a state-of-the-art research program, to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels 128 hours per year, to supervise doctoral students and to provide senior leadership in the department. The position is expected to start on September 1, 2015 (or on a mutually agreed date). The annual gross salary will be €46,000 – €70,000, before employee taxes (including health insurance and pension contribution), depending on experience and qualification.

The position is permanent and open to candidates both inside and outside the French university system.
The LEDa (60 tenured faculty members) is the economics department of Paris-Dauphine University, a leading research center in decision and organization sciences and a founding member of PSL*, a union of academic institutions.

Pre-selected candidate will have to submt three recommendation letters and will be invited to visit our department and give a seminar talk.
Seminar talks will start in January 2015 and will continue until March.
