The Department of Applied Economics at Oregon State University invites applications for a 9 month, 1.0 FTE tenure‐track assistant professor position in the Economics of Sustainable Development, to begin September 15, 2015. Location: Corvallis, OR. We seek candidates to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and with interest and experience in sustainable development of agricultural and food systems, both domestic and international.

The minimum qualification is completion of all degree requirements except the dissertation. Additional requirements: PhD or equivalent in Agricultural Economics, Applied Economics, or Economics by the appointment date and proficiency in oral and written English. A preferred qualification is interest and/or experience working domestically and internationally in multi-disciplinary research teams. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, teaching statement with evidence of teaching effectiveness, research statement, c.v., copy of their job market paper, graduate school transcript, and three letters of recommendation.
