The Department of Economics is seeking applications for a full-time professor position, at the rank of assistant or associate. The appointed candidate will be nominated for the Canada Research Chairs program, Tier II.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach at all three levels of the curriculum, supervise graduate students, engage in ongoing research and publication, and contribute to the academic life and reputation of the University.

Requirements:
• PhD in Economics completed after 2005.
• Significant publications in the field of quantitative economics and public policy analysis.
• Teaching experience.
• Proficiency in the French language. French is the language of instruction. In accordance with the institution’s language policy, the University provides support for newly-recruited faculty to attain proficiency in French.
