IMT Institute for Advanced Studies Lucca invites applications from strong candidates for an Assistant Professor position in Economics.

Preference will be given to applicants who have recently completed or are near completion of their Ph.D. in Economics or a related field. An excellent level of both written and spoken English is mandatory.

The position involves research, tutorship and mentoring of IMT Ph.D. students, limited teaching in the Institute's Ph.D. program, and participation in the development of the Institution’s research activities. The appointed candidate will join ICES Research Unit - Institutional Change, Economics, Society (http://ices.imtlucca.it). The contract has a 1-3 years duration, renewable for a maximum of 4 years. Remuneration packages are competitive at the international level; additional benefits may be negotiated with selected applicants.
