3ie, an international non-profit organization dedicated to improving development outcomes through better use of evidence from quality impact evaluations (IEs), is seeking an Evaluation Specialist to serve in its main office in New Delhi, India. 3ie's functions include grant-making for IEs, systematic reviews (SRs), and replication studies of IEs; in-house research, including SRs, evidence scoping reports, replication studies and others; communication and advocacy of policy evidence; public goods for the impact evaluation community; and professional services for development implementing agencies. The Evaluation Specialist will be responsible for: reviewing proposals for 3ie funding; quality assuring 3ie-funded studies; conducting in-house research; participating in select conferences, workshops and IE training events; writing for the website; and contributing advocacy and communications materials; among other tasks. Applicants should have a graduate degree (preferably PhD) in economics or field relevant to international development with research experience in experimental and quasi-experimental methods applied to development contexts.
