Position: Full-time, tenure-track position, available September 2015.

Responsibilities: Regular nine-month teaching load includes core courses and electives in the Global Development Studies major, advising students, overseeing internships, coordinating the Global Development Studies Program, and participation in university governance and service. Candidates must be committed to excellence in teaching, as developers of innovative curriculum and professional development.

Qualifications: Candidates should have their Ph.D. in hand by August 2015 and be engaged in research on any of the following areas: International financial institutions, aid agencies, humanitarian emergencies, NGOs, development theory and practice, human rights, poverty, social movements, or comparative or international aspects of social, political, or economic development. Research on a locality or region, such as Southeast Asia, Africa, or South America, may also be considered if linked to global processes or institutions. Evidence of teaching excellence and scholarly productivity required.
