The Strategy Unit at Harvard Business School is seeking outstanding candidates for a tenure track position at the assistant and (non-tenured) associate levels. We are interested in exceptionally strong candidates with discipline-based training and research skills. Applications from candidates who are doing applied theory and empirical work are welcomed. Successful candidates should have a genuine interest in questions of concern to practicing managers, even if the practical implications of their research have not yet been fully fleshed out. We offer a range of courses on topics including competitive and corporate strategy, global strategy, boundaries and organization of the firm, technology and strategy, and the economics of competitive interactions. The Strategy Unit also supports a doctoral program in strategy.
