Department of Economics Tenured or Tenured Track Faculty Position

The Department of Economics at The University of Texas at Arlington expects to have an open tenured or tenure track position (rank open) beginning Fall 2015, pending budgetary approval. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics at the time of application (no ABDs). Our primary interest is in applied microeconomics as applied to urban economics, health economics or environmental economics. Applicants with a track record of external grants, especially grants in collaboration with scholars from other disciplines, will receive preference. Most teaching will be at the master’s level.

Each application should include a cover letter indicating up to two primary JEL classifications of specialization, vita with list of references, and samples of research. Review of submitted materials will commence Dec. 1, 2014, but the position(s) will remain open until filled.
