The Department of Economics at the University of Konstanz invites applications for faculty positions at the assistant professor level and postdoc positions. We have a particular interest in the fields of International Economics, Macroeconomics, Behavioral Economics and Econometrics. Candidates must demonstrate potential for creative research and receive a Ph.D. in Economics by August 2015.
The University of Konstanz, which is one of eleven German Excellence Universities, has a strong reputation as a research institution. The Department offers an active research environment and a low teaching load. Current research interests of the Department's staff can be broadly grouped into the following areas: economic theory, macroeconomics, applied economics, experimental economics, econometrics and quantitative methods, and financial economics.

Knowledge of German is a plus, but not required. Interviews will be held at the ASSA meetings in Boston.
