The Department of Economics at the European University Institute is proposing to make two entry level appointments at the rank of assistant professor to commence in the Academic year 2015/2016. The positions will have a length of five years with the possibility of extending the contract to a total of seven years. The Department welcomes applications in all fields of economics. Candidates should have, or expect to complete, a PhD by September 2015. The candidates should show strong research potential and a capacity for effective teaching and advising at graduate level. Successful candidates will be able to focus most of their time on their research. Salary, research support, and benefits are competitive.
