The Department of Economics at National Tsing Hua University is inviting applications for a full-time opening at the rank of assistant, associate or full professor starting August 2015. Applicants at all levels are welcomed. However, preference will be given to senior junior or junior senior scholars with strong research and teaching records. Promising PhD candidates must earn the degree before August 1, 2015 to be formally employed. Applicants in all fields of specialization are welcomed, especially those in macroeconomics and/or monetary and banking. The usual teaching load is 6 hours per week at all levels to facilitate high-quality research. The openings are not limited to Taiwanese citizens and both Mandarin and English teaching are welcomed. Please send CV, transcripts (assistant professor level only), a sample of research paper(s), and three letters of recommendation. Materials received before December 15, 2014 will be guaranteed full consideration, and early applications are encouraged and appreciated. We will conduct preliminary interviews at the ASSA meeting in Boston, MA in January 2015.
