Job Openings for Economists

The Department of Food and Resource Economics invites applications for two or three assistant professor positions or post doc positions in Applied Economics from September 2015 or earlier. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Economics or Applied Economics before taking up the position. Major responsibilities include research and teaching at the BA, Master’s and Ph.D. levels in Applied Economics. Lectures can be given in English. The Department is particularly looking for people with research interests in resource economics, agricultural economics, development economics and natural resources, and field experiments in environmental economics. The Department’s core research fields are within environment, natural resources, global development, food and agriculture, consumption, bioethics, and governance. Applications should be received by December 15, 2014. Interviews will be arranged during the AEA meetings in January 3-5, 2015 in Boston MA.
