College Information- The College of Business Administration currently has 75 full-time faculty and 51 part-time faculty in 6 academic departments. The College offers majors in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Information Systems, Insurance, Legal Studies, Operations Management, Management and Marketing enrolling more than 3,000 undergraduate majors. In addition the College serves nearly 275 graduate students in its MBA program. Position Summary- Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Economics and Energy Economics beginning in the Fall 2015 semester. Preference will be given to individuals with a proven track record in energy economics.

Department Specific Duties and Responsibilities-Other responsibilities include research and service appropriate to rank and appointment.

Qualifications- A Ph.D. in Economics is required. Energy Economics is the field relevant for this position. Candidates should also possess strong micro/macroeconomic skills. Candidates possessing a Ph.D. in economics must have completed the degree within the past four years or have sufficient publications in peer reviewed journals to maintain academic credentials. Candidates should have sufficient education/training to accomplish refereed research in one of the commonly accepted economics journals. Preference will be given to individuals that can demonstrate that they can contribute to the department’s degree in Energy Economics.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities- Previous teaching experience in higher education environment is preferred. Candidate should provide evidence of teaching effectiveness/excellence.
