Washington & Jefferson College and its Department of Economics & Business invite applications for an Assistant Professor of Economics, tenure-track, beginning in August 2015. Candidates should have a background in microeconomics and possess broad teaching interests and abilities. Teaching responsibilities include principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, and mathematical economics. Possible fields of interest include health economics, energy economics, and experimental/behavioral economics, but all fields will be considered.

Candidates for the position should have completed, by the time of appointment, a Ph.D. degree in economics and will have demonstrated excellence in teaching. Further, they should be committed to working closely with students in a residential, undergraduate, liberal arts institution.
