The Economics Department of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for tenure-track assistant professor positions in the fields of empirical applied microeconomics (health, labor, or industrial organization), financial econometrics and applied microeconomic theory.

Successful candidates must demonstrate the capacity for high-quality research and teaching. A completed PhD in Economics is required by 1 July 2016.

The application should include a cover letter, CV, statements of research and teaching interests, and 3 letters of recommendation. (Finalists for positions will be asked to provide a fourth letter of recommendation at a later stage in the search). The search will continue until the positions are filled. Interviews will take place at the ASSA meetings in January 2015.
