Hampden-Sydney College, a private liberal arts men's college with a commitment to excellence in undergraduate education, invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in the Economics & Business Department beginning August 2015. Candidates should be prepared to teach introductory accounting (managerial and financial), corporate finance, and introductory economics courses. Ph.D. or ABD at advanced dissertation stage preferred in either economics or accounting. The ideal candidate must be academically qualified (18 graduate hours) to teach both economics and accounting courses. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching. Hampden-Sydney College, a selective college founded in 1775, is located in south-central Virginia, and has an enrollment of approximately 1100 students. Submit letter of application, curriculum vita, undergraduate and graduate transcripts, indications of teaching competence, and three letters of recommendation to Accounting Search Committee, Department of Economics, Hampden-Sydney College, Hampden-Sydney, VA 23943.
