The Graduate School of Public Policy of Nazarbayev University invites applications for full-time positions in Economics at all ranks to begin in 2015. We are especially interested in candidates with interest in at least two of the following areas:

• Energy Economics;
• Natural Resource Economics;
• Natural Resource Management;
• Environmental Economics;
• Agricultural Economics.

We seek candidates with strong teaching and research interests. Successful candidates will maintain a vigorous research program and contribute to departmental administration in addition to teaching. Ph.D. required.

Nazarbayev University, located in Astana, Kazakhstan, was created with the support of leading universities (www.nu.edu.kz). The Graduate School of Public Policy’s partner is the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (www.spp.nus.edu.sg) of the National University of Singapore. The School (gspp.nu.edu.kz) offers a Masters in Public Policy and is planning to launch a Masters in Public Administration and part-time PhD programs in 2015. Compensation includes an internationally competitive salary, medical benefits, child education allowance, housing and travel.
