The Department of Economics and the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan are delighted to announce that they are seeking applications and nominations for the Allen Sinai Professorship of Macroeconomics. This professorship will be held by a tenured faculty member. Expected start date is September 1, 2015, for a university-year appointment. The Sinai Professor will be an economist with expertise in quantitative macroeconomics, particularly macroeconometric modeling and related quantitative analyses, financial markets, and/or international economics and finance. Applicants for the position should have a distinguished record of quantitative research in these areas relevant for the analysis and practice of economic policy, as well as a strong interest in teaching economics and public policy.
