Hampden-Sydney College, a private liberal arts men's college with a commitment to excellence in undergraduate education, invites applications for a tenure-track appointment in the Economics & Business Department beginning August 2015. Candidates should be prepared to teach introductory economics, intermediate microeconomics, and at least two of the following: law & economics, public finance, and game theory. Ph.D. or ABD at advanced dissertation stage preferred. Candidates must have a strong commitment to teaching. Hampden-Sydney College, a selective college founded in 1775, is located in south-central Virginia, and has an enrollment of approximately 1100 students. Submit letter of application, vita, undergraduate and graduate transcripts, indications of teaching competence, and three letters of recommendation to Economics Search Committee, Department of Economics, Hampden-Sydney College, Hampden-Sydney, VA 23943.
