The School of Education at the University of California, Irvine invites applications for a tenure-track position in higher education. Successful candidates must possess a Ph.D. (or equivalent) by the summer of 2015 and have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching. Applications will be considered at the Assistant or Associate Professor levels.

We invite applicants from a broad range of disciplines with research interests related to higher education. The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to our graduate and undergraduate programs, and particularly to our Ph.D. in Education program, which offers specializations in Language, Literacy, and Technology; Educational Policy and Social Context; and Learning, Cognition and Development; and to our new undergraduate major in Education Sciences.
