The International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) seeks an Associate Research Fellow/Research Fellow for its Markets, Trade and Institutions Division. The position is a two-year, fixed-term appointment, and is renewable depending on performance and funding. This position is based at IFPRI headquarters located in Washington, D.C.

Essential Duties:
• Conduct research on financial econometrics with a special focus on empirical modeling of various markets associated with agricultural commodities.

Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Economics or Finance;
- Field in Econometrics and a research focus in Time Series methods and Financial Econometrics;
- Strong theoretical background and an interest in empirical modeling of financial markets;
- Ability to travel extensively.
