The Department of Business and Economics, University of Southern Denmark, invites applications for one or more vacant (tenure track) positions as Assistant Professor. The department welcomes applications in all areas of Business Economics and Economics.

The research and teaching activities at the department are organized within five groups: Accounting & Finance, Econometrics & Management Science, Microeconomics, Applied Economics, and Macroeconomics, Trade & History. The department currently has three (cross-disciplinary) research focus areas: Accounting and Finance, Historical Economics and Development (HEDG), and Health Economics. The latter is organized in the Centre of Health Economics Research (COHERE) – which comprises researchers from both the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences.

The department provides a supportive research environment and research facilities, travel support, etc. are generally very good. The successful applicants will be responsible for the teaching and supervision of BSc, MSc, and PhD students in Business Economics and Economics. Teaching loads are favorable. The working language at the department is English.

Interviews will be conducted at the ASSA meetings in Boston, January 3-5, 2015.
