The Department of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley seeks applications for a non-tenured tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor rank, 100% time, with an expected start date of July 1, 2015. The field is open. Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. or equivalent in Economics or a related discipline, completed within one year of the appointment.

Basic Qualifications Required:
The basic qualifications required to be an applicant is the completion of all degree requirements except dissertation or equivalent by time of application.

Applicants are required to submit a curriculum vitae, one (1) research paper, and arrange for the submission of three (3) letters of recommendation.

Candidates applying for this position who hold tenure-track faculty positions at other institutions should provide contact information for three (3) referees, but do not need to request letters through the system at the time of application. Referees will only be contacted if you are a finalist for the position, and we will seek your permission before doing so. Please note that your application will appear incomplete when you do not request letters, but will receive full consideration.
