The Brown Center on Education Policy at the Brookings Institution is accepting applications for a Fellow with a strong background in quantitative research relevant to education policy. The Fellow will conduct research, writing, and outreach tasks related to his or her individual scholarship as well as to collaborative projects within the Brown Center. The Fellow will also raise money for research projects and interact with the media. The focus of the Brown Center is bringing the best evidence to bear on governmental decisions that affect policy and practice within the American education system from preschool to postsecondary.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD by December 30, 2015 in economics, public policy, or a related discipline, or have completed all requirements for the PhD with the expectation that the candidate will obtain the PhD within six months of starting at Brookings.
