We invite applications for a full-time instructor position in economics to start in January 2015. The position is funded at least through the 2015-2016 academic year. While the position is not tenure eligible, additional renewals are likely but are subject to approval. Applicants should possess at least a master’s degree in economics (or related field), but a Ph.D. is preferred. Previous successful teaching experience at the college level and previous business experience are both strongly desired. Applicants must be either academically or professionally qualified by AACSB standards for full consideration.

The basic requirements are to teach twelve credit hours per semester. The main teaching responsibility will be microeconomic and macroeconomic principles courses, but secondary teaching fields in international economics, health care economics, or personnel economics are desirable. The successful candidate will also assume other normal faculty responsibilities such as advising, service on committees and student recruitment activities.
