The Nova School of Business and Economics, a triple-accredited (AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA) institution, is opening a tenure-track position in Microeconomics, with emphasis on Behavioral Economics. Ability to conduct applied or field work is a preferential factor. Applicants must hold, or be about to complete, a Ph.D. in Economics. Responsibilities include academic research and a teaching load of, on average, 110 hours (equivalent to three semester courses) per year. The school offers programs at undergraduate, master, PhD and MBA levels. The successful applicant is welcome to collaborate with the research centres in economics (Novafrica, Nova Economics, Nova Healthcare Initiative). Classes are taught in English and knowledge of Portuguese is not a requirement. Gross annual compensation: EUR 41,000 to 68,000.
