Appointment: August 2015

Responsibilities: Teaching, Research, and Service. Teach undergraduate- and graduate-level classes in economics with specialization in Macroeconomics and Applied Econometrics. Engage in research and publish in quality journals. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to meet the research requirements for tenure and promotion in a program accredited by AACSB. Also engage in service activities in the department, college, and university level committees.

Salary: Salary is competitive with peer institutions.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Economics from an accredited university required by appointment date. The position requires specialization in Macroeconomics and Applied Econometrics.

Preferred Qualifications: Evidence of independent teaching effectiveness in the required specializations. Willingness to develop and deliver innovative traditional and distance-learning classes.

The Department and College: The Department of Economics and Finance is part of the College of Business Administration, which is accredited by the AACSB. The department offers following degree programs: B.B.A. and M.S. in Economics, and participates in the college’s MBA program and Ph.D. in International Business.
