The School of Marine Science and Policy (SMSP) at the University of Delaware (UD) is hiring four tenure track faculty members in ocean science and policy. The general advertisement can be found at http://apply.interfolio.com/25391.

One of the areas of interest is applied microeconomic and quantitative policy analysis related to the coastal/estuarine environment but we are open to economic/policy analysis in a wide range of areas including: climate change, coastal development and land use, offshore energy, fisheries, marine mammals, and marine transportation. While your current research need not be in these specific areas an ability and interest to conduct applied research related to costal and ocean resource use is required. Typical teaching load is one course per semester.

Hires are expected to be at the rank of Assistant Professor, but exceptional applicants at other ranks will be considered. Target start date is Fall 2015. Application review begins early November. We will be conducting preliminary interviews at the ASSA meetings in Boston.
