The Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor, beginning in the fall of 2015. Applicants must possess a strong desire to teach and pursue research in a liberal arts environment with a reputation for excellent teaching. The successful candidate will teach both required and elective courses. Highest priority fields are macroeconomics and econometrics. The normal teaching load may also include statistics. The college offers excellent research support. The standard teaching load is 5 courses per year, normally with 2 to 3 preps.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Economics, although advanced ABDs may be considered. We encourage applications from women and historically under-represented groups as well as individuals who have experience in teaching in a multi-cultural classroom. The college is especially interested in candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through their research, teaching, and/or service.
