The Center for Algorithms, Data, and Market Design (CADMY) is a cross-university center that seeks to support and further research at the intersection of Computer Science, Data Science, and Economics.
CADMY is offering several Postdoctoral Associate (PDA) positions designed for recent PhD graduates working at the intersection of Computer Science, Data Science, and Economics. We are particularly interested in candidates with a research focus on algorithms, blockchains and cryptocurrency, causal inference, game theory, learning, machine learning, market design, and networks. We welcome all applicants with interests at the intersection of Computer science, Data Science, and Economics.
Applicants must have completed their PhD before the start of their appointment as a Postdoctoral Associate and are expected to demonstrate a strong record of research and publication. Postdoctoral Associates are expected to be present on the Yale campus three full days per week, contribute to research and publications, and participate in seminars and conferences at Yale. Postdoctoral Associates are strongly urged to reside in the New Haven area.
The resident Postdoctoral Associate will start their appointment on July 1, 2026, or later based on mutual agreement, for the duration of one year. Postdoctoral Associates may apply for a second year of support. CADMY Postdoctoral Associates receive a salary of 90,000 USD per year plus Yale benefits, a travel/research stipend of 15,000 USD, and office space.
