The Department of Economics at The Ohio State University invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in econometrics. The starting date for the position is August 2026.
Performance Objectives
The candidate will be expected to establish and maintain an active research program; support our commitment to excellence in teaching; and mentor students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Education and Experience Requirements
Required: Candidates must have a PhD in Economics or a related field before employment begins in August 2026, and have a research, teaching, and service record commensurate with rank.
Desired: Priority is given to candidates whose research (job market paper in particular) is innovative and of high quality.
