VCU Economics seeks to fill two tenure-track positions at the Assistant or Associate level. For the first position we seek an applied economist with a strong econometrics background. For the second position we seek a macroeconomist.

Applicants at the beginning Assistant level should have an established research agenda, clear potential for external funding, and potential for scholarship to complement and expand existing expertise in the department.

Applicants at the advanced Assistant and Associate levels should have a well-developed research portfolio with evidence of multi-disciplinary applications and external funding appropriate to complement and expand existing expertise in the department.

Both positions entail effective undergraduate and graduate teaching.

Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate in Economics or closely related field by August 2024; eligible for employment in the United States and indicate citizenship or visa status; demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment or commitment to do so as a faculty member at VCU.
