RAND's Economics, Sociology, and Statistics Department seeks applied microeconomists across experience levels. RAND economists develop policy-relevant research agendas within or across research areas such as education, labor, defense, and health, with the option to teach at Pardee RAND Graduate School. Applicants should have a PhD by September 2024, demonstrated research skills, a strong interest in policy-relevant empirical analysis, and excellent written and oral communication skills. RAND offers a flexible working environment, with offices in: Santa Monica, CA; Arlington, VA; Pittsburgh, PA; Boston, MA.

Associate: $127,100 - $178,100
Full: $134,600 - $233,975
Senior: $164,100 - $300,375
